The Video Editor
Do you want to edit a video before publishing, perhaps you don't like one of the images the AI came up with - or you wish to change one of the scenes to feature a photo of yourself or your product.
Then our Video Editor feature will make all of your wildest video dreams possible!
Thanks to our Video Editor you can:
- Edit each single scene of the video to feature a new AI image, or an image from your device (very useful when you want to represent a specific person or product!)
- You can preview and edit each dialogue that is part of the narration, as well as even change the voice in a specific scene.
You can access the Video editor in two ways:
- A) If you want to edit a video you generated in the past:
- Go to "The Studio"
- Visit the "Generate Short-Form Video" section
- Click the Pencil icon next to your video (highlighted in green in the screenshot below)
- B) If you want to edit the video before it even gets generated (This will save you one credit until the video is fully rendered):
- Follow the steps in the previous chapter to do your video
- Once you're done, instead of clicking "Generate Video" at the bottom of the Video Creator, click "Preview Video", after a few minutes, the Video ready to edit will be available for you in The Studio.
How to Use the Video Editor
Once you have opened the Video Editor following the steps in the previous paragraph, you will be presented with an interface very similar to the standard Editor but with a few key differences.
- Use my own Images/Videos or Import from Pexels: In the top-left side, you have a new checkbox called "Use my own images/videos or import from pexels", when enabled, Genius.AI will allow you to upload an image or a video from your device, or import one directly from Pexels. This is ideal if you are creating content that requires realistic imagery or B-Roll! You can also import content directly from your Gallery!
- Image Prompt: If you are using an AI Image for the scene, the Editor allows you to edit the "Image Prompt" which is the prompt by the AI to generate an image, make sure to click "Update Image" after editing the prompt to save your changes and have the AI preview the result.
- Voice: In our Scene by Scene Editor - you can change the voice in each scene, this is useful if you want to have multiple narrators or tell a story with multiple voices.
- Use my own Voice: As part of the November update - you can now easily record your own voice for each scene! This helps you make the content more authentic!
- Dialogue: This option allows you finer control on what the narrator says during the scene, you can hear a preview by playing it from the player - Make sure to click "Update Dialogue" when updating each scene.
Scenes:
You can move to each scene of the video by using the "Scenes" selector below the Editor - once you are satisfied with each scene, click "Generate Video" (will consume your Monthly Videos credit)
